Sam Houston Schoolhouse

Interesting cabin and museum. Friendly and helpful staff. I don't know if I would drive a long way to visit, but if you are nearby it is worth the atop.

Surprisingly packed full of history. Lots of worthwhile time had a very tiny place. Would be interesting to know how much of the caretakers’ stories are fact and which are tall tales.

Listed as open, got there and there was no one in the office/gift shop. It was a very small cabin with not much in it, so having someone to explain the importance would have been important
