Its' been a long time since going there, (due to the Wuhan Flu) but had good time watching the movie with my youngest son, Godzilla Vs. Kong. Popcorn was a little saltier than I remembered, but was good. They serve sweet tea there now, that was a surprise. Unlimited drinks is a plus too, and can't beat the ticket price of $3.49 a person. Looking forward to next time.

Good place to see a movie cheap

The old cinema in Hartsville has a certain charm that it hard to describe. The building is old. The new upgrades are dropped on top of the old fixtures as the expense of remodeling was mitigated through consistent compromise. The old marquis sign is gone, but it was replaces with a neo-retro AMC sign. The soda fountain is a touch screen machine that sits on top of carpet that seems old enough to be original. Some people don't like the feel of the place, but I'm right at home.nnThe tickets are like $4 for an adult so it is easy to take the whole family to a film, even if your budget is tight. They only have two screens so choices are limited, but I have no other complaints.nThe staff is friendly, the popcorn is usually fresh, and the candy is overpriced.nThe crowds can get unruly on weekend nights (depending on what movie is playing) but overall it's a good experience at a reasonable price

I wish I could leave a -5. The woman working last night needs to find another job. I will be visiting today to speak to management. An adult & 5 BETA Club, honor & band students were turned away due to arriving 10 minutes late. They didn't need to see previews. The woman waved them away like flies. They were there to celebrate birthday. Swamp Fox in Florence welcomed them. I am naming this place sticky feet. I didn't complain when we arrived for field trip several yrs ago to find our popcorn in black garbage bag sitting on floor..but i am now.
