Dona Ana Self Storage

My storage unit was broken into and a 9700 watt generator,a new plasma cutter,awire feed mig welder,a stainless steel vacume,4 Jack stands,a battery charger and a paint gun was taken...I didn't find out about the the theft until I opened my unit,I dicovered some of my things we're wene,I was told by the office employee when I started asking for some answers to my interigation questions that need he saw my lock had a been cut off and was in laying on the ground that he just figured that i Had cut it off because people cut off their locks off when the key jis lost and that was why the lock was laying on the ground... I asked then did you check the camera records... He said no he didn't... I said.you better .... When I went to the office after I checked to see what was missing, I got to watch a girl walk over to the gate and stick something in the gate in 2 seconds (real secure right) open the gate and another girl followed in. They tripped the automatic gate and a blue stepside pickup pulling a trailer went through. The next recordings I saw be was the blue pickup pulling to the automatic gate, it opened and the pickup pulled through, with the trailer that had my generator plain as day, following on foot was a guy , pulling the vacume in one hand and carrying my mig in the other hand... I. Was supper ticket off needless to say. I demanded that the Police was to be called... When the Police got there, I was told to make a report at the office on motel bvd. Then. I was told by the owners wife... I should have had insurance because they used to sell it but no one would buy it so they stopped selling it. I was not informed that they didn't cover their units and it says that on the paperwork. (It does but the super small print is so smudged and illegable that you can't read it) and I said there should be a sign on the wall saying that. I will not ever be able to replace the things I lost... I'm retired now and living on a fixed income and the things that are gone we're very expensive .the cheesey camera system is not even pointed so the plate could be seen and the owners and employee had no concern for my loss but I was not even offered any type of better rate on the unit. Not even a sorry it happened.
