The Bull Smokehouse and Saloon

The food was spectacular and the homemade chips excellent. The wait staff was friendly but not very attentive. The staff also does not wear masks. It took a long time to get our food as well. They were not busy when we were here so if they are the wait could be long. Tables were clean and dividers set up between tables. It has a rustic set up that looks great. Expensive $$. The food will bring us back and I would recommend them.

From the Angry Bull to the Bull this place has had many struggles while the Bull can be a fairly decent restaurant some days there are days when it's honestly rather underwhelming. There are times I wonder if the staff realizes there are seats beyond the bar. I understand there are customers at the bar, but when you sit down and wait 15 mins before a staff member realizes you are there to take your order I feel there is something that needs to be addressed. Another issue I have with the place is the long wait time on foods don't get me wrong the restaurant does get really busy some days but I feel like on their busy hours they crank out food really quick and in slow days it seems the food comes out slower. This of course goes both ways so it's very inconsistent especially when you decide to eat during your lunch hour and it takes almost an entire hour to get out a burger and fries. This has happened on numerous occasions and even when I come there for dinner I can usually take my time but food being put out does take way too long at times.nnAside from this issues here when you do get good service you can have a good time at the Bull. The staff is friendly and the food is decent there are ups and downs with the food. Aside from that they serve good drinks, and the desserts are from the Vanilla Bean which is a place I personally love to swing by and a wonderful addition to this town. Aside from this major qualms the Bull has improved a lot over the years it still has a lot of work to go but it's doing very well.

Wish i could give this place a better rating. Nice inside especially if you want to catch COVID. Not a single person including wait staff was wearing a mask and no social distance precautions taken..I guess they cured covid in the restaurant.nnWaited over 45 min for take out and got a beyond well done burger. The longhorn is just 2 burger patties cooked together. Brisket was tough as well. BBQ sauce and house made chips are good though...

Not impressed with the changes that have been made with the new ownership. The menu is much smaller and MUCH more expensive than when there previously. Over $15 for 2 well Bloody Mary's is highway robbery. The Angry Bull was always a must do while in the area, but after our Saturday visit we won't make the time. Sorry, best of luck to you.

Waitress was great. Food was very good. Came fast and hot. I had the Beer belly burger and fries! Delicious!!!!nBe sure to tip your wait staff generously!!!
