We are from California. Traveled to Alva to watch the Ranger Homecoming. Went to dinner at the Northern Chop House after the game. We LOVE this place. The food, the owner, the service, the atmosphere, everything was amazing! One of the BEST Ribeye's we've ever had! Thank you and all of Alva, Oklahoma for the hospitality!
Amazing service! Amazing atmosphere. Amazing food. My gf left calling the owner mom. Was navy and have eaten in restaurants all over the world and have yet to find a better place.
Camping outside of Alva this week with some friends when we all decide to go into town for a nice supper. End up driving by the Chophouse and decide to give it a go. We didn’t have a reservation (which I think is what you’re encouraged to make) but wouldn’t you know it, the owner came right outside to greet us and said she’d make room for us and pleasantly invited us in out of the cold. Needless to say, the food and service was AMAZING. Portions were just right and the food was SOOOOO rich and flavorful. Never expected such a nice place like this to be out in the sticks. I will certainly make it a priority to go back next time I’m in the Alva area! Great job!
