The only reason I don't give this 5 stars was because of the tics. Yikes!nnWe were there in April, and except for the pit toilets open, everything else was closed. But we had water and power, and there wasn't a SOUL around. Maybe because of the tics???nnWe did stay two nights, just because it was so quiet. But we had to be extremely diligent about picking up the tics.
Overgrown and not maintained. Can't even back an RV in to a spot due to low branches. $20 a night for this?
if you like hunters, gunshots, freight trains, coyote all night, loud owls, ticks galore, thistles in your feet, dust, mosquitos, stinky cattle, flies, fecal runoff from cows, nonstop gobbling turkeys, and a ripe outhouse, this is your spot!!!nnoh, did i mention FRACKING?!nn(petroleum gas drilling/ harvesting. extremely destructive and polluting industry. poisons water supplies.)
