CVS Pharmacy

I have been getting all my prescriptions and my family’s prescriptions filled at this pharmacy for a few years now. They are undoubtedly the best pharmacy staff I have ever encountered. Everyone is always so helpful, professional, and I never have to wait a long time for my medications. The entire staff is very friendly and wonderful at their jobs. I highly recommend this pharmacy!

After being given two out of the three prescriptions I was supposed to receive, I asked where the third one was. The pharmacist looked me in the eye and said that it was never ordered from my doctor. My doctor told me it was very important to take that one before my appointment the following week, so I was a bit confused about that.nnFast forward to my appointment...my doctor asked if I had taken the third medication she ordered. She confused and angry to hear that the pharmacy told me she didn't order it, because she absolutely did. The absence of the drug did cause some problems for the procedure I was having done, leading to unnecessary pain.nnI later found out that the drug I was prescribed has many uses, one of which is to aid in abortions, though that was not the procedure I was having done. Pharmacists are allowed to refuse to fill prescriptions that they have a moral disagreement with. That does NOT mean they have permission to LIE about a doctors orders. They can simply state that they do not want to fill that prescription for moral reasons. Instead I was lead to believe that my doctor had changed her mind about what medication I needed, with the end result being more pain that necessary for a procedure that wasn't even related to their moral objection (which they would have known if they had bothered to have that conversation).nnThe lack of professionalism at this CVS means I will never have my prescriptions filled here in the future.
