It's OK, very peaceful to just sit. Whenever we were here it was mainly just people sitting in their cars with the windows down just relaxing. Lots of stickers in the grass so be careful walking around, and the playground is hardly someplace I'd want my child to play on. Overall ok, especially just to get away.
Caught 3 lb largemouth April 1st around 3pm.nSurprisingly clear water. Will be back!!
It is fine but there really isn't anywhere to sit and fish at the same time. And the fish don't like to bite at all I was there for hours and didn't catch one thing. Overall I would choose a different place to fish
The playground looks gross. There are stickers, so I wouldn't advise sitting anywhere on the ground. There are ducks to feed, so that is nice. It's a nice place to just go and sit to enjoy some nature.
The lake is rather peaceful for being in the middle of town. There is a large grass area for picnic or play, a fair amount of shoreline for fishing, and a rather unhindered view of the sky for cloud watching. The few structures are slightly dilapidated, but otherwise, well worth a visit.
