Until I met Candace, I dreaded dealing with anything insurance related. Candace makes it all easy. She explained it all in terms that I could understand, while empowering me to make good decisions about my level of coverage. Never pushy. Always kind. I never knew what the benefit of having an agent was until I signed up with Candace. No more 1-800 numbers where I talked to a different person each time and had to have all of my policy information ready. She treats me like family. I absolutely recommend Candace to everyone I know!

Candace with Shelter is a different kind of insurance person. Candace is knowledgeable, helpful and puts the client first. She will go out of her way to ensure her clients are covered without over selling things they don't need. Candace is thoughtful and patient... never pushy. Candace Clay is absolutely the best insurance agent I have ever dealt with in my life. I had an experience where another agent made some kind of error in coding which county our property was located in, which caused my premium to shoot up. When I called in to inquire about it, whoever I talked to advised me that that would be the new premium without really any answer why. I called a few weeks later to cancel the policy because it was just too high. It just so happened that Candace Clay had taken over that office and she looked into it and found the error in a very short time. I was so thankful that I didn't have to go insurance hunting again and ever since that day, she has taken care of every insurance need with speed and efficiency. She has helped us get the best rates on our families five cars, two homes and all of my mom's rental properties and home.nI can't stress how much help she has been. She is really sweet too! You would be foolish not to call her for your insurance needs!!! She's one in a million.

If you need insurance, give Candice a call! She helped me immensely this past year with an insurance “issue”... spent a lot of time.... and ultimately told me what I needed which didn’t make her a dime!!!!nnHer advice was sound and she was happy to tell me I didn’t need a product from her. Candace is very helpful and responsive. I can tell she cares and wants to grow a lasting business. 3 agents before her was my first Shelter agent he was also exceptional then there were a couple of average agents for a couple of years but thankfully she took over and has been great.
