For active duty, retirees, and veterans seeking to enrich there spiritual life it is a wonderful oasis.nnWhile the buildings use for services are dated given the limited dollars appreciated over many of the previous years plans are in the works for revitalization.nnThat said, it is what is offer to the person and families that is truly important.nnThe protestant services have caring chaplains. The Catholic services are more limit as the Air Force is drastically short priests. The void is filled by contract priests from St. Gregory's Abbey in Shawnee. Father Charles Buckley offers a 11:30 Mass M-W-F that is ideal for Aimen, civilians, volunteers and others near tinker with base access. The typical service allows one to obtain that desired time for spiritual reflection during the day yet have time for a quick bite a the near by BK or Base Exchange food court before completing the afternoon work obligations.nnThere are multiple ecumenical programs including a Wednesday evening dinner at 6p followed by bible study, Spiritual Direction and children programs.nnSunday's have Catholic services at 9am and Protestant at 11am.nnIf you have base access the Christian Community would love to welcome you.nnI would normally say call for more information, however you really need to come by to meet the community.

The Tinker chapel is friendly, god loving church that has provided support for my family for years. Although the numbers fluctuate and the leadership change(Because it’s an Air Force establishment) the chapel has stood the test of time!
