Usually this place is adequate. But this trip it was sub par.nnI ordered my steak medium rare and received a steak that was gray through and through. It then took probably 10 minutes or more for some to check on me even though I had an uneaten steak sitting at the edge of the table.nnI would say it was rare (pun intended) that my steaks are cooked correctly. They often are closer to medium, which I usually just accept and move on with my life. But this grey solid colored steak was not acceptable.nnThen they said they would replace my steak and this felt like it took upwards of 15 minutes. My dining partner was effectively done. It had been an hour since we had arrived before I received the second steak. It was cooked properly, but it was tough and flavorless.nnThe manager checked in with me as I was struggling with my first cut and when I saw reddish pinkish colors I acknowledged that it looked right.nnNo one else checked on my satisfaction of the steak, nor questioned why I still only ate a 1/3rd. No discount or other token gesture was made for the inconvenience.nnIt was not my choice to eat here this day, and I likely won't be doing it again anytime soon.nnI would have enjoyed any of the near by food choices much more.
Took forever to get seated (or even acknowledged that we were there). It would be understandable if it had been a dinner rush, but it was 8:30pm and the were only 5 other occupied tables. Had to ask for refills on coffee and tea. Decent prices, but not so great on service.
We waited 40 minutes to be served the nastiest steaks we’ve had in a long time. We were seated and our orders were taken. We received our salads. Then waited on the steaks. The waitresses came to our table, 2 plates out of 6 were correct. They tried really hard to tell me I ordered a chop steak( which I did not order). They tried to tell another member of the party it was hers. She ask for her steak to have green beans and broccoli. It came out with a baked potato no broccoli. My food came out after everyone was done eating. Another member of the party couldn’t even eat his steak. A child’s chicken finger dinner came out when my steak did. Never spoke to a manager. It was like no one cared. That was a waste of $150.00.
The food and our server were great. The reason for a low score was 1. The wait. Plenty of tables and if you are going to make me wait 30+ minutes for a table due to perceived social distancing (Plenty of open tables) do not seat me right next to a full table of people coughing. 2. Way to long from our placement of order until we received our food. (Again 30-45 minutes) asked for a manager and she stated there was a large group and our order was being plated but it was not ours. We were the only group waiting also. Disappointed that no one did anything about it although our waiter was nice and apologized. Usually Logan's gets a 5 rating. Not this location. Maybe next time.
Nice place! We were there on February 13, Our server Clarissa was great! She was attentive but not pushy. She gave us recommendations that were perfect. She even rectified a situation before I could even comment on it. The only issue I had was the kitchen. I ordered the ribeye for the Valentine's day special. It had good flavor and texture until my 3 rd bite in. Them the flavor and texture changed. I didn't complain because I am afraid of retaliation. The situation that was fixed was the kitchen forgot my blue cheese butter topping and grilled shrimp. Clarissa let the manager know before hand and the manager took it off my tab before I had a chance to complain.nThe drinks and the rest of the meal was great! We will be back!! I hope Clarissa will be on duty! Thank you both for being really awesome!!
