Although my meal wasn't perfect, the ravings of my family members and the wonderful ambiance score high enough to boost Over Yonder to a 5.nnOur waitress was sweet, efficient, and knowledgeable despite working multiple tables at once. The decor was pleasant, with cool old board games on the walls of the room in which we were seated. They also played old rock music at just the right volume.nnFood wise, the fried chicken, pita bread with pimento cheese dip, homemade apple sauce, and cheese grits with bacon were very, VERY well received. The sweet tea was freshly steeped and wonderful.nnThe slaw was good, but maybe not for us -- no red onion fans here!nnThe mac and cheese was kind of underwhelming, but tasty enough to eat.nnThe mashed potatoes had perfectly sized chunks of potato inside, but I felt mine were a little under seasoned. Lastly, I felt the Lima beans were over cooked -- they basically disintegrated in my mouth.nnWe finished the meal with peach cobbler and chocolate chess pie. Both pretty good -- not as good as mom's! -- but we preferred the peach cobbler. :)nnOverall, though, Over Yonder was an amazing and delicious experience in a beautiful part of the country. Everything was wonderful. The trout appetizer and the trout entrée were spectacular. The desserts were delicious and the service was great. All in all a fabulous experience.

I adore this place. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive; food was so freaking good. I love the thought put in to every dish. The flavor combinations are absolutely perfect. So excited to have Over Yonder in my neck of the woods, and I'll be back for sure.

Great service, atmosphere, and food! The menu is limited but the options are amazing! I got the salad and house made pimento cheese, hubby hot the meatloaf sandwich (which he has not stopped talking about), and my children got their version of a sloppy joe which they loved. The flavor was out of this world and definitely a go back to!!

Have been to the restaurant 4 to 5 times in the past two years and we are never dissapointed. Incredible tasting food, excellent variety of options and always fun and unique drinks at their bar.
