Went to my Falls Valley pharmacy today to receive my 2nd shingles shot. This has been my local pharmacy for 20+ years, though it was previously a Rite Aid. I was called by their VRU to remind me that my 2nd shingles shot was due. When I arrived, there were no customers in the pharmacy waiting for service. I was told by the tech and pharmacist that Walgreens was not offering any vaccines other than COVID. I asked if I could schedule my shingles vaccine for a different time and they suggested I go to a different pharmacy. I completely get that their priority is COVID. But I was standing in front of them with no COVID vaccine customers waiting what so ever and THEY have my prescription. I will go to a different pharmacy as they suggested...and will not offer any of my future business to Walgreens going forward. Very disappointed and frankly upset. Giving one star because no star was not an option. I miss my Rite Aid.
