This place has a clean facility, nice people and Chesters Chicken food is amazing. If only Pilot was this good. The shower here was worth paying for although I have points to get free showers at Pilot.

I love, Love's. Maybe it's weird to have such an affinity for a truck stop/gas station, but in the past year I've done two road trips (coast to coast and up and down the mid-Atlantic). Love's stations were CONSISTENLY clean, well lit, well staffed, well appointed, and staffed by friendly, helpful people. The gas prices are consistent with other stations in the area - usually a bit lower - and most Love's stations have one or more fast food options + in-store shopping and other services like showers for weary travelers and truckers. This Love's was well lit, with many gas pumps, gasoline and diesel, and generous parking in front of the store, on the edge of the lot, and ample RV parking. The layout is well designed to separate truck (18 wheeler) traffic from consumer traffic so you don't feel like you are going to get run over by a big-rig. They even had a dog park for your furry road trip companion. Bathrooms were very clean, soap and paper towels stocked, and no-touch doors (turned entry like most airports). I do wish that they would install auto-open sensor doors for the retail part of the store (especially during COVID the less physical contact the better). This Love's has a Chester's chicken and a McDonald's with a drive through (dual lane).

Be aware! Chester’s workers are cheating. I ordered #4 menu. She was put me just chicken tenders and mashed potato on a side. But usually menu includes potato wedges, biscuit and beverage. I like to trust people but that’s crazy. She didn’t gave me silverware and napkins as well.

Shower cleaning lady lazy. Too busy worried about what cashier guy on store side is doing.

I really like having the the Loves just up the road but I’m seriously thinking of going back across the street to the other gas station. Every time I get fuel the pumps are ALWAYS out of paper & won’t give a receipt. You have to go inside & I don’t want to be going inside just for that. I don’t want to wear a mask & they require you to wear one upon entering their store. However I just witnessed several go inside & come bank out without one!! Go figure! Must only apply to some!
