Don’t get me wrong, I love this place. It’s a solid stop for when you are looking for something specific and looking for something to catch your interest; both which I’ve enjoyed doing for years. But, when you have customers in your store 10 minutes till close and you have a logistically mandated close time, please let your patrons know rather than loudly droning on about how you’d never go to a store within 30 mins of closing. It completely negates your co-worker’s response of “of course, you’re a good person”.
They always have a great diverse selection and friendly staff!

Half Price is a discount bookshop that is really dear to me, and it is great to see that they are still active during the whole COVID crisis. The selection is great. The staff is always really busy, but they go out of their way to help out any time they can with no fuss. I love this place.
The staff is very helpful there. I'm in and out quick which is most important to me. They're never short with you or .ake you feel like you're a burden. The cashier even applied a coupon she had to my purchase. People don't have to be so nice, so I appreciate it when they are.
