Great place to unwind. Take a nice walk. Not by yourself of course. Not these days.
Nice trail that is fairly clean and has a small parking area. The trail was mostly flat with very slight inclines/dips making it suitable for children, running, or bringing your dog!
Nice typical southeast NC pineland trail. There are many streams that run through here, so when it rains heavy, parts of the trail will have standing water. Starting from the Hobson rd trailhead, at mile 7.5 the boardwalk is down and impassable. There are firebreaks you can take to circumnavigate this and will put you back on the trail just before mile 8. (The detour around adds almost a mile to your journey fyi).
Really great trail, nothing more nothing less
Great trail typically, but currently it's closed for hunting season.
