Settled my traffic ticket right before covid 19 hit in march 2020. Thought I paid it, got a letter in august telling me i have until oct to pay fine or liscrnce gets pulled/suspended. Could not get Anyone from the courthouse to answer the phone. Trued for days, so i looked up the times it is open. Their site saus 8am to 5pm monday thru Friday so i figured i would drive from west virginia to Greensboro and pay it personally. I get there at 330pm on a Monday and they tell me they close at 3pm! I told them my situation they said oh, the new times are posted on the guilford county site. I looked thos courthouse up 10 different eays Everything I saw said open 8 to 5pm. The guard just told me oh well, i just work here. They need to fix their damn site! All that way for Nothing! Answer the phone!

Court policy is to not transcribe or record county proceedings. Just another way to circumvent protecting peoples rights. GJ Guilford County!

Horrible how they sent security to attack a blind veteran trying to inquire about medical services. I remember hearing he required medical assistance for bleeding of the brain after this attack.

This courthouse and it’s staff are an embarrassment. I understand that a courthouse is not a place anyone really wants to be, but the lack of empathy or desire to help people at this courthouse specifically is shocking. Not only are you not allowed a word in when addressing a ticket, you are then punished further more for attempting to pay for your fine, etc. Guilford County Courthouse must still be living in the time of horses and buggies as everything must be done with you being physically present and nothing can be sent online, fax or mailed. If you are living outside of the country, like I am, good luck...
