Went to Vestal with a coupon for a cheap oil change and tire rotation last week. I asked if they could also check my battery while there. An hour later they let me know that my battery absolutely needed replaced and quoted a steep $189 which I obviously declined. While paying for the oil change and tire rotation I asked if they filed up the tires and was told absolutely. Two days later my tire light came on. After filling myself I have had no problems. When taking the car to my local mechanic for a $120 battery replacement a few days later, they informed me my battery was in great shape and did not need replacement at all.nI would not trust taking my car to a shop that 1.) gouges in price 2.) tries to sell you parts you do not need.nnEdit:nTo answer your questions, I was having no trouble with my battery before bringing into the shop. The reason I inquired about the battery life was because I was planning on taking the car on an extended road trip where I would be relying on it to support and charge multiple devices. As for the tires, I noticed one was looking a little low before bringing it in, though the light had not come on yet, it clearly needed to be filled.

I have been buying vehicles from this location for 30+ years which covers my last 5 vehicle purchases when it was Vestal and now Parks. Every purchase built a loyalty to purchase their vehicles. Always a class one purchase and satisfaction for me. Scott was great to work with on my most recent purchase. Recommend this dealership highly. Thanks for another outstanding buying experience.

I wanted to share my experience here in hopes Parks Buick GMC can get it together and also inform the public on what to be aware of should you deceide to purchase a new vehicle here. There was no follow up from the first rep I interacted with in early Nov 2020, had to go back and find someone new mid-Nov 2020. After taking over 2 weeks to locate the new vehicle I wanted, I purchased a new vehicle, paid cash, but also traded in a vehicle that did have a lien. Red flags went up when it took over 30 days to pay off the vehicle that was being traded in with no communication from dealer as to why. If I had not figured this out, another payment would have drafted! The SD card that controls the GPS and many settings was missing and took 3 weeks to get in so all features could work as designed (remember this was a brand new GMC). Currently I am about to hit 45 days since purchase and still have an expired 30-day tag on my new vehicle. No new tag yet OR the actual clear title! I understand running a business has its challenges and apparently in Nov 2020 Parks bought out Vestal, but there seems like no one here really knows what they are doing or has any control to create a positive customer experience. If there is, unfortunately I did not have the pleasure to work with them. Please go in with your eyes open. Even though this dealership is local to me and I like their product, I do not think I will use them again. Customers have choices and value service.

Buying a car today at Parks Buick GMC in Kernersville NC has given us access to the Parks Family. The service that we receive was wonderful. Kevin Swinton took his time in listening to our needs and desires of our next vehicle. He was so kind in buying lunch for us, thank you. The site manager was great in making sure we were taken good care of. And wow, Keith in finance was the best we ever dealt with in finishing the paperwork. The sales team is magnificent as I recently purchased a vehicle and they made the process as easy as it comes! Very prompt and great service and they treated us like we were VIP.
