Note: I just wanted to add to my review below, Joy Luck has been a real jewel during the pandemic. It's about the only restaurant left I patronize. Food, pricing, service, practically unbeatable on all levels. Hang in there, I still love this place!nnBeen a customer for years now. One thing I really love about this place, is consistency. The quality of the food, service, and not to mention, a great value for the money. Food portions always generous. I always take my order to go so I can't necessarily speak to the dine in aspects, but it seems like the staff are very courteous and appreciative. I think Joy Luck is easily the number one Chinese food joint in Louisville with the apparent downfall of Oriental House especially. A real gem in the declining Bardsclown Road area too.

I highly recommend eating at, The Joy Luck. The ladies were very friendly and helpful. You can call in your order to go, they also have, Door dash. They have a nice seating area outside or dine inside. Did I mention the fully loaded bar. This was my first time eating here. I walked in and ordered food, it didn't take long to get my order,(5 minutes). The food was great! The staff were all very professional. The restaurant was nice and clean. Thank you! I'll be back soon.

Love, love, love this place! Came to Louisville to eat at another place that was closed and decided to come here instead. I'm so glad I did! This place was great! Quaint, clean and quiet. The staff was magnificent and very personable. Waiter recommended Cantonese roast duck and I must say it's the best dish I've had in awhile. Can't get over how nice all the staff were. I will definitely return! Highly Highly recommend!

Man, that was so good! My wife ordered the Cantonese noodles with beef, I got the lunch bowl with Mongolian beef and fried rice, and we shared the pork buns. Everything was great. The pork filling in the buns was subtle but tasty, the noodles were very good, and the beef in both dishes was fantastic. The fried rice was whatever; I think it was fried brown rice, and I hardly ate any. There was so much beef and veggies in my bowl, though, that it didn't really matter.
