BenchMark Physical Therapy

After having back fusion surgery, and after four months in a back brace, I started working with Mathew Winters. I can't say enough about these folks. If it were not for Matt's help. I would not be in as good a shape as I am. I started feeling better after the first session. I would recommend these folks to anyone. They also post really funny cartoons! LOL

I have dealt with back pain my entire life. I got injured at work for a different part of my back. Janet worked thoroughly on my entire back. I would walk in there on certain days hurting from work walk out with no pain at all. Janet and Leah are amazing women! Most times, i found myself laughing the entire time i was there. I went from barely moving to no pain on any part of my back. I would highly recommend Janet to anyone who needed her. Thank you to the amazing women that worked with me for 2 months. You will never be forgotten. much love

I arrived at BenchMark in horrific pain and was greeted by therapist Ms. Cress, who proceeded to work her magic to relieve my acute pain. After more than an hour of intensive hands on therapy including ultrasound, I actually could breathe again without pain. I returned two more times and Ms. Cress handled my therapy with exceptional skill. I was sent off with exercises to keep my arm and shoulder behaving and have gone a full year now without recurring pain. I do recommend BenchMark to all of my friends knowing full well that they will receive the same outstanding care as I did last year.

I was told I had no co-payment then after my 6 appointments, received a whopping $275 bill. After calling Six times over the course of a couple months and being told they can’t get in contact with anyone to fix it, I just paid the bill. My treatment itself wasn’t what I’m accustomed to for physical therapy as all I did was do the exercises on a heat pad. No massage, no muscle release, no ultrasound therapy... nothing but doing the assigned for at home exercises and learning them properly and setting up tens unit.

I have had only the best experiences with Benchmark Physical Therapy in Weaverville, NC. My therapist, Janet, has years of experience, is really intelligent, never lets a question go unanswered, and loves her job. I am very happy with our progress. Leigha, the Tech andnFront desk manager, is a miracle worker. Both are delightful and make the sessions fun just by being with them. I worked out hard for a solid hour in every session , but had so much fun doing so, I did not realize the time. It flew by. These professionals motivated me. I met Matt and Ashley from the other clinics when Janet took a little time for the holidays. They are incredible too. These people are true healers. I went in with horrible injuries and they helped me get my independence back. You have no idea how exciting it is to be able to grocery shop for yourself again. Wow. I had to have deliveries for months. My first trip to the store I bought 5 packages of different coffees. Yep, it comes down to that. Shopping online is not quite the same. I am back to many of my activities. Janet would insist that I say it this way - We did it together! These folks are good. The facility is great. They are also close to home. Having to interrupt my day to go into Asheville for therapy in the past was definitely a recipe for failure. Definitely. Most of us do not live in downtown Asheville. The clinic is 4 minutes from my house and I did not miss any sessions, except once on a day that I was ill. They scheduled a make up session quickly, so actually I did not miss ANY sessions. I will not go anywhere else. When it comes to PT, this clinic is my home base.
