I was referred to Dr. young by my Local Hospital due to an Hand injury a few days before Christmas. He is the rudest Dr. I’ve ever met. My wrist felt like it was pulling if I stretched my fingers, so I couldn’t even ball up my fist. This man had the audacity to sit there being sarcastic the entire time. He did nothing for me but refer me to a Physical Therapist. I told him what medicine I was taking for the pain and that it wasn’t working, he said ok and wrote a prescription for the exact same medication. He got upset at me because He said “I wasn’t trying to move my hand at all & how he has had other patients with worser injuries, who moved theirs more than me”. He stated he read my X-ray and it was nothing there so there’s nothing wrong with me. I pray that he retires, because The way I was treated I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through that. Like really what is a referral for if the Dr. is not actually helpful. I would never recommend anyone to him or anything. To make matters worse his staff heard how he was speaking to myself and also the client before me and none of them even had the guts to step in to even say anything. WORST DR. In HISTORY. If I was an Orthopedic I’d be ashamed to even be in the same profession with him !

I am appalled that this doctor and staff are so rude. My 5 year old granddaughter broke her arm in 2 places and Dr. Young recommended a wrist splint, my son questioned this and he assured him that is all she needed.well it does not help school says she is in pain and she says she is I pain. SHE NEEDS A CAST.

Dr. Young may be a great surgeon, but not remembering my case ten days after my first visit gave me pause. (All he had to do is read the chart.) After making contradictory comment regarding his recommendations and being dismissive, I smiled and left. Most likely will be limping forever waiting to get into another doctor, but I have to be treated better so I can be confident in my surgeon.

This so called Doctor is rude, along with his staff.. Office is very dirty.. I don't recommend him for anything and my family will not be returning..Oh and scheduled appointments are not true, everyone in the office today was complain about it, we waited 1 hour and 20 mins, others just walked out.. Just all around bad experience for the last three months.

Dr Young came into the hospital room, without reading my aunts chart or discussing her rapid decline with the doctor. He was abrupt with my parents and tried to convince them that she required surgery. The nurse interrupted and asked him if he spoke with the doctor. He left the room and never returned. He still owes us an apology for his lack of competence.
