Had appointment here this week the staff was very professional and polite,the doctor was very good as well would highly recommend this office, very happy they have this here in banner elk.

We traveled out of state for the week when I started with UTI like s/s and needed to be seen ... It was easy to check in, nurse was pleasant, and NP was professional and knowledgeable!!! EVERYONE was SO kind!!!!!!! Thank you for helping me and making my day when I felt rough!!!!!!!

I visited the Urgent Care Facility in Banner Elk on two separate occasions..same problem..just needed a little more medication and follow up. I received treatment from Kelly NP and Beth NP..both were extremely knowable and caring. The front Receptionist and the Medical assistant that took care of me were both professional and knowledgeable of their positions. Would recommend the facility and it's staff!!

I was visiting the Banner Elk area for a wedding in early August. I unfortunately ended up visiting this urgent care due to a suspected urinary tract infection. All personnel were polite and caring but that was where the medical care stopped. To this day the results of my culture and sensitivity have not been entered into MyChart profile. This caused an increased delay in my therapy and an added cost when the treatment I was placed on was not effective and I had to have another culture and sensitivity done at my PCP when I returned home. I was not even sure the C&S was done at this urgent care until I received a bill for it. I had to verify by calling the lab vendor!!nnAlso, I am currently on 4 prescription medications and not one was entered correctly into MyChart profile. This could be a big time problem for medication errors.nnMy suggestion for anyone in the area is consider your medical care carefully!!
