What goes for one does not go for all. Animal control is a joke. We were treated very unfairly and threatened multiple times by Danny Joe Slade. I have no complaints with sheriffs department at this time other than animal control. I hope a new official is put in that position very soon. I have heard many other people within the county with similar complaints of horrible treatment from the same person. I am a firm supporter of law enforcement and officers that act with integrity and morality and Danny Joe Slade operates with neither. I tried to formally make complaint with the department against Slade in which Slade was sent to my home in which I was threatened with jail for committing no crime.

Called to report a death threat received against my brother. I never received a call back as they said they would go do a welfare check. When we called back today they stated had no record of call. Don’t bother !
