He has been my doctor since I moved to meridian 7 years ago and I plan to keep him permanently. He has a great reputation and is very thorough. He listens well and does his best to get to the bottom of it. I have also come to like his nurse Amber Leigh. She has given me excellent advice over the phone about melatonin and over the counter remedies that I did not know about & saved me doctors visits. Hes a very busy Dr., but he's so busy because he's so good. You just have to be patient with him and realize one person can only do so much in 1 day.

So. if you are unwell. Dr. Nanney's office does not really care. They will point you to the walk in clinic! This is not what one expects from a doctor! Dr. Nanney is a good Dr., but if you are sick... wait a couple weeks, then he can see you. THIS IS NOT MEDICAL CARE!

So Dr Nanney is great. Listens very understanding and try’s to communicate with you. I gave three stars just because of his staff. I’ve been a patient now for three years, and he treats me for adult ADHD and Post Partum depression. My first visit was great, office was welcoming and so were nurses. When I returned after three months you have to do a urine drug screen, I knew this and was prepared, I’ve been treated with these meds for years. Only time off is when I was pregnant. The lab lady meets me and shoves cup in my hand and starts talking mile an hour about how it has to be this temp, you only have so much time and Dr nanney won’t accept anything less but an ok from here before I get to see him. I go to bathroom provide my sample, as I held it for my drive prepared for this sac teeming. In the bathroom there is a standard window which reads “urine samples”. I placed my cup in window and knocked signaling hey here it is. I went back to my room to wait. No less than 30 minutes later lab lady returns accusing me of not following directions and the sample was useless. I told her I followed the instructions, and even in bathroom it read to place samples here. She then stated “your here to get tested for drugs, you have to walk it back through to me”. Now the areas I walk back through is full of patients waiting, and hardly any room to this with discretion or asepticly. Told her this is first time since being on this medication I was expected to walk urine back through waiting room. She then decides to berate me again, saying no pee no visit, before leaving. The nurse came in and I explained what happened, she told me to drink water and do it again. Three cups max. I said ok, after one she brought I stepped into hall and waited to see someone so I could get more. Lab lady opened door and sees me and says, “ oh your here, can I help you”. I said no. Another nurse passes and I ask her for water. As I’m waiting I here the lab lady telling the nurse i wasn’t supposed to get water from them, that I needed to get it from her. Had I known this I would have gone to her. Nurse returned and lead me to waiting room outside again to drink and try to pee again. I heard lab lady talking not only about other patients that were waiting but me also, accusing me of trying to manipulate the situation, and she wasn’t going to test what she felt uncomfortable about, and what was I doing walking around the clinic? What was I up to? (This was when I was searching for my nurse for more water). Being a nurse I even decided to tell lab lady that I here you ma’am, and so do these people, could you be more unprofessional? After all this and my second attempt, it was all good, came up positive on screen, and Dr Nanney was very understanding. The lab lady I know judged me based on my Perscription. If your on adderall, news flash to people, were not drug addicts. I’m prescribed it for my driving mostly, I’ve had more tickets than I can write out now, and since being on the medication again my driving is spotless. With my two children their safety means the world to me, so I couldn’t let her biased unprofessional behavior jeopardize them. Since this incident, not one nurse returns my phone calls. I’ve never got a return call after many messages, I moved over a state and while trying to get everything in order the new pharmacy needed the ok from my doctor. Took multiple calls and finally the receptionist got annoyed for me and went to Dr Nanney personally. Thank you front office staff.
