Kroger Pharmacy

The only reason I stay with this pharmacy is because it’s cheaper and close. Otherwise it’s a pretty bad pharmacy. They never open on time. They are rude. They change the hours and don’t tell customers. It takes FOREVER to get meds refilled. I need to switch to mail in or Costco.

How this pharmacy has a rating of only 2.7 out of 5 is beyond me. The only explanation I can think of is the limited sample size of 10 reviews! This pharmacy is fantastic, especially Christopher!

They need help. The wait is always ridiculously long

I have literally been using Kroger pharmacy for my entire life so I have obviously never had major issues in the past but over the last year they (at this location in particular) have done 2 very bad things.nn1. They decided to open boxes of insulin and only give patients 2 of the 5 insulin pens in the box while continuing to charge the patient the same amount which literally more than doubled the price of insulin.nn2. At around 8:30 this morning I called in a refill of a very important medication (I will be VERY VERY SICK VERY QUICKLY WITHOUT IT!!!) and I was informed that I had no refills left so I immediately called my doctor and set up an appointment for 2:00, by 3:00 my doctor had sent my new prescription to them, when I got off of work (4:45) I went straight there and sat in line until 5:40 when they informed me that it still wasn’t ready and to “please give us 15 minutes” (I had just waited an hour in the line and she asked me to circle back to the back of the line). I told her that I would run an errand and let it slow down and come back before they close at 8. I returned at 7:25 and waited in line until I finally made it to the window at 8:01 where she told me “I’m sorry we are closed there is nothing I can do”. I’m in for a very painful night tonight and quite possible hospitalization! Someone needs to be held accountable for this! I will never use this pharmacy again if the person responsible is still employed by them by tomorrow night!!!!

This pharmacy is the slowest I have ever had the misfortune of visiting. Perceptions called in at 3, went to pick them up at 6 and after waiting 40 minutes in line (which was wrapped into the street) I’m told they haven’t even started my medicine and it would be ANOTHER 30 minutes!!! It would be one thing of this only happened once, but it’s EVERY TIME!!!
