Great open space. Packed on Saturdays, so weekdays are better if you're looking for quiet.

Excellent hike around the Homesteaders trail. You get to climb up and down several inclines. The trials are mostly wide and very walkable trails. We had tennis shoes on and it was a good walk. The path has a lot of rocks and tree roots but it was not to bad.nnYou get to walk by a couple of nice streams and see a beautiful waterfall.nnThe trail is very well marked and easy to follow. Beautifully mostly wood/woods. This trail even has several numbered signs and a little booklet that you can pick up describing some of the artifacts of the homesteaders.nnGreat trail.

Gorgeous trails and nice stream. Got eaten alive by tics though.

This is a great hike or trail run. All the loop are about 6 miles and there are lots of water features. Just a beautiful area.

Good trails with plenty to see. There are several waterfalls on the streams. The homestead trail (the longest) was very cool because of the historic markers and the history to go with them. I found that it wasn't very challenging but there are some hills that are somewhat steep and some may find them difficult.
