Our family enjoyed the Trail of Lights & were glad we could do this without exposure to crowds. Really liked the drive through tunnel, seeing the vintage displays & atypical things like frogs, turtles, boots & cacti, etc. Complimentary hot cocoa at the end was a nice touch too! We went on 12/28 & it was steady, but we didn’t have to wait to get in.
For $25 per car, it seemed like this should have been a little more impressive. In Laurie, MO, there’s a free lights display that’s a million times more impressive than the Branson Trail of lights. After over an hour of waiting to finally get into the Trail of lights, we drove through what can only be described as random light displays (including cactus plants, cowboy boots, and old window boxes with creepy ancient displays), and large bare areas with no lights at all.nBetter skip this one and go to a cheaper, more impressive lights display.
We went right as it was getting dark. Prepare yourself if you go closer to Christmas for a wait, it was at least 30 mins before we even turned in. Also it’s $25 per vehicle... the lights were nice and little displays were cute, but it was shorter than years before.
Wonderfully beautiful light display. We love Christmas lights and this is a family tradition. Also did their North Pole to see Santa and the reindeer, it was great as well.
Wasn’t worth the price and half the lights weren’t working. They hyped it up way more than it was. If you made one wrong move your falling off a cliff. Wouldn’t recommend.
