Nearly 42 years ago I walked into Lordo's original location in downtown St. Louis looking for an engagement ring for my soon to be fiancé. I was a young kid with little money and even less confidence that I would be able to purchase the heart-shaped diamond she wanted. Frankly I was intimidated to even be there. Michael Lordo waited on me that day and treated me like I was a millionaire who could afford anything in the store. He brought out envelopes of heart-shaped diamonds for me to look at placing them on the counter, more diamonds than I had ever seen. Michael treated me like I was the best customer he had ever dealt with when the reality I was lucky to scrape the money together to buy a ring. He worked with me on the price and the setting and later worked with me to create a custom wedding ring to accompany the engagement ring at a very fair price. 42 years later, my wife of 40 years still wears the ring I purchased so long ago, still as beautiful as the day I purchased it. The Lordo's are a wonderful family and I've never forgotten how Michael treated me and the positive experience I had in every interaction with Lordo's Diamonds.

My experience at Lordos diamonds was absolutely awesome! Jimmy at Lordos diamonds did an amazing job helping me pick out an engagement ring for my fiancé. He showed me different bands with different diamonds and settings and showed me how they go with each other. Jimmy helped me greatly work with my budget and had the ring prepared at a fast time. Most Importantly my fiancé loved it! Thank you Jimmy and all the staff for your kindness and professionalism! I would absolutely recommend Lordos Diamonds for any diamond and jewelry needs.

These guys did an absolutely fantastic job making me feel like a member of the community and a valued customer. They educated me on diamonds and jewelry and I would recommend Lordo's to anyone in the area looking to pay cash.

I’ll never buy jewelry from anywhere else but Lordo’s. The service and professionalism of everyone in the store is amazing. Jim was amazing and made my life so much easier. Got my fiancé the perfect engagement right and now the perfect wedding ring from here as well as my own wedding ring. If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would!
