The Webster Groves Bookshop

How I love small, local bookstores...and The Webster Groves Bookshop is an example of a lovely one. The owner was so helpful as I shopped for books that might please an eight-year-old second grader. One of my selections had to be ordered and it came in just as promised. I will be visiting again.

So super cute. Not huge, but there is a severed door in the wall and a park bench for perusing before buying. They pulled a baby book for me and described it over the phone very accurately. They kindly held it for me until I could make it over to check it out. Now we have a beautiful baby momento keeper from a local shop.

I love this little shop. The owner is delightful and there is a solid selection of books for all ages.

If you, as a shop owner, want your customers to wear masks while shopping, then post a sign to that effect.

Went in to support small business but the customer service was severely lacking and made us feel like an inconvenience.
