Great school. The people who rated 1 star probably had a specific bad experience that doesn't accurate reflect speed school as a whole. This school is full of teachers that care and have a passion for what they are teaching. If you are willing to learn you will find that here is an easy place to do it. Furthermore, the program will push your ability to stay disciplined with an unlimited number of extra curricular activities to get involved with.

This is the country's premier Engineering School. Graduates go on to literally reinvent the world! Awesome school and by far the toughest on campus. Students have to stay focused and sharp in order to prevail.

If you are planning on taking classes here you should know that the program is inflexible. Should you happen to have to sit out a semester, you will have to wait an entire year just to get back on track. Although many students in the J.B. Speed School attend all three semesters, many of the classes are only offered once per year. The only reason UofL is able to keep students with such as inflexible program is because there are no other schools within the city that offer an ABET accredited engineering program. UofL should keep in mind that there are other types of students attending school. We didn't all come straight from high school.
