Mid-Continent Public Library - Platte City Branch

Great public library connected with others in the greater Kansas City area. Can get you books from other locations usually pretty quickly. Nice, newer facility, great Wi-Fi and clean.

I have been going here since I was a child, and every year this library just gets better. They will order any book you want if they don't have it, and their ebook selection is also great! Awesome staff and very clean facilities.

Not sure why people are trashing this location, particularly Whitney Dahlin. You can place a hold on a book from any of the Mid-Continent libraries and they'll have it transferred to the in-network location of your choice where you pick it up. I have them dropped at the Camden Point branch, which is only a couple of minutes from my house. Yes, you have to wait a few days, but the selection of books is great. There are some that I want that the system doesn't have, but that is to be expected. Nice resource for a small community.
