Very much of a watered down church. Lead pastor many times is out on “missions” providing sub par replacements. The money used for missions is only for a core group. Other than that money collected in offerings doesn’t appear to go towards anything else. Except a food pantry which requires people in need to come to them. Which is located in a remote section of the city. The lead pastor is rude, condescending, argumentative without being provoked. Don’t go here if you want a deep understanding of the bible. Very much tailored towards new believers and every service feels like an intro to Christianity. I would say 50% of the messages are copied from life church tv sermon materials. You can literally go to life church website and find the sermons before they are given at the rock. Very disappointed that clicks are there within the paid leadership. Not friendly nor welcoming on any kind of deep level. Simply surface smiles. This effect trickles down into the regular attending members. Not all but most. Highly recommend not going to this church. Just give it two months and you will see what I mean. I put up with for a year and got burnt out. For the longest I refused to write a review but God has been laying on my heart to expose to whatever degree that I can as an individual the extreme lack of Spirit lead leaders.
