Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium

I dont think there's a bad seat in this stadium, at least compared to the mega stadiums we've had to go. Very friendly concessions with unbelievable selection for a college football stadium. Unbelievable that midsized stadium at this storied university is usually no where near filled. There are the usual lines at the women's restrooms but the men's room has a quick line and all are kept clean. Gates and security are thorough but friendly and efficient. Nothing better on a nice day even at the top seating, where you can see for miles around. Great video boards and sound system

Nice facility to watch a college football game. Easily accessible with restaurants and shopping nearby. Be sure to purchase a campus parking permit online to make parking easy.

Went to the Syracuse game on 9/7/19. Parked in Lot H, very easy to enter and park, but the spaces were tight for tailgating. Easy walk to the stadium, and breezed right in without bags. Interesting (and pleased) to see craft beer sales at a college stadium. Sodas, though, for my teen son were expensive($6.00), so we bought bottled water. The upper deck seating area was not very comfortable - backless aluminum benches. Aisles were ample enough for people to easily get by, but having a seat cushion or seat back would have helped.

I was attending an event at the stadium tower: Coach George Early, (who was the head coach @Friendly High School in Fort Washington, MD), was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Maryland High School Football Coach's Association. A great number of assistant coaches & former players, along with their parents, were there. Some of the guys brought their wives & children The turn out was simply awesome considering Coach Early has positively impacted three generations of people! I was honored to be in attendance!
