What a wonderful Welcoming Church! The fellowship, the music, and depth of caring for everyone who comes through the doors to worship and to be in God's House. We have been calling Good Shepherd our home since we moved here in 2005. Come join us won't you? If your just visiting Southern Maryland or live here and are in need of a home church - You're always Welcome!

When we moved to MD 8 years ago, we needed to find a church that was a good fit for our family. Good Shepherd Methodist Church welcomed us with open arms from the first time we stepped in their doors. Since that day we have become a part of the GSUMC family, my children have been a part of Sunday school and youth group and have been spiritually nurtured by many wonderful people. this church has become an important part of our lives and has been there for my family through good and bad times. The members are our family and I am very grateful that God lead us to this wonderful church 8 years ago.

If you want a place to be a good shepherd and spread God’s word, please join us. This church is more than a building, it is a family in Christ, and we welcome all of God’s children.

My family has been a part of the Good Shepherd family for over 25 years. It is full of joyful and faithful people who Love God and each other. This church has a heart for missions, locally and beyond. There are many activities for children and youth and a wonderful music ministry.

Incredibly warm, caring, diverse church family for all ages. Solid Biblical teaching. Continuous community outreach for homelessness & social justice.
