We've lived here for almost 18 months. The only reason we're leaving is because we're moving to Florida. Otherwise I would stay here forever. The apartment is absolutely gorgeous, the complex is very nice and quiet, and the staff has been great. They're very responsive, and they always take care of any issue within a day or two. Our neighbors have been very quiet (even though they have kids, so I suspect the walls are well insulated), and we've never had any problems with rude or inconsiderate people. The only thing I don't like is having to take the trash up to the compactor, but it's a small price to pay for such a nice place.
Absolutely awful. We have lived here for an extensive period of time in building 14. However recently we had new neighbors move in that are extremely loud and are constantly high on drugs. Literally. We can smell the marijuana through the walls. They constantly have people that don’t live here over and hang out under the pergola all throughout the night making noise. Last night they had the police called on them. When the police showed up, everyone who didn’t live here ran off. This place used to be good for families, but ever since the new manager took over it seems as though it’s gone down hill. The front office is aware of the issues with this one particular apartment, but refuses to do anything. Apparently they would rather lose good long-time residents than take action against people who violate the “no drugs” clause of their leases and have the police called on them. We definitely will not be renewing our lease once it’s up.
New management lies. They do not value tenants and will try to scam you when you move out. RUN AWAY from this place as fast as you can.
We know someone who recently moved into this complex. It's probably and upgrade for them but they did not ask me my opinion prior to moving in. I visited them several times since they have been there. The main gate which I'm sure people think they pay for security is usually wide open so anyone off the street can just walk in and who knows what. The door entrance to the pool and gym was usually broken or unlocked so again no security and maintenance was not quick to respond. We hung out one evening next to the pool just talkin the three of us and all of a sudden about six to eight teenage white kids showed up and all jump into the jacuzzi and turned up there Boombox like it was at the nightclub. We had set outside Lily for hours just hanging out at the pool in the peace and quiet until they showed up and within the hour the police were there asking all of us to leave. We had nothing to do with those people and we're on the complete opposite end of the pool area but here is a prime example of the good suffering for the bed. The apartments are decent as you walk in but nothing luxurious about them. I can't believe my friends are paying as much as they are for a small kids bedroom and a loft area for themselves. Absolutely ridiculous for the amount of money being paid! But no one forced them into it so shame on them for trying to live like the Jones's. Also when they have the big Festival and the outside Pavilion area by the water it gets very loud and noisy over there so I myself would not want to live that close. I could see that getting old really quick. Also my friends park outside in the shopping center area under their apartment and then have to walk up a long flight of steps and down a long hallway just to get to their apartment. How inconvenient is that again for the money they're paying they should have front door walk up service. Anyway to each his own. I do not live there and have no desire to as I have my own home but from an outsider's point of view it's not worth the money.
If you do not have an adaptable personality then the rating can be changed to 2-stars.nnBut for me, I live in the back with a big shared common grass and wilderness area which gives me peace of mind due to the nature-y feel. I play soccer back there a lot. Also the wildlife pond is pretty cool and I meditate there sometimes. Pool, clubhouse and gym very nice too.nnThe people can be a little hot and cold and weird. Sometimes enforcing the rules harshly, sometimes not at all. And the logic doesn't seem make a lot of sense to me. But with my personality, I can simply ignore this other nonsense that would otherwise annoy me.nnIt is a little expensive for the area. If it was a little cheaper then it would be a solid four stars. But with the negatives and the price, I can see why someone would rate this 2 stars. For me, though, 4 :)
