The waiters can't seem to ever get the orders right.
Even though the were out of some ingredients since their trucks were also stucked in the weather crazy roads it was an amazing experience. Most people were complaining but when I loudly said that as truck drivers we really appreciate them being there to serve us a hot meal after being stuck over 26 hrs on the interstate, most of them also thanked them for taking care of us instead of staying home. Food was excellent and the attention and care received from our waiter made us feel like we were at home. Thank you for being there when we needed a hot, fulfilling meal.
cat fish delicious. really like the slaw. biscuits & corn bread are to fight for. our server Nancy was excellent serverd. Took care of us -- checked on us frequently, kept coffee refills hot, removed dirty dishes - she was great
Not the best. Biscuits were top notch. Everything else was meh. All the meat was way over cooked/burnt. Had a party of 8 and not one person was satisfied with their meal. Very disappointing. The one in Baton Rouge is always good. This is the 3rd and final time we'll be going to the one in Hammond.
It's nice to be able to dine in for lunch. Good food and good service.
