Do not deal with April Jones!!!! She took our full payment of $800. Two separate payments of $400 each. We canceled in plenty of time to receive a refund. She said she was dealing with a company called Evolve. She manipulated a letter from them on their letterhead to give us a booking number in my name. Once I tried getting the refund and could never get anyone to return my emails or phone calls, I contacted Evolve myself. That is how I confirmed that the email she sent to me was manipulated/edited to have a booking number and my name on it. The booking number actually belongs to someone else and my name was nowhere to be found in their system. I have left messages and sent emails to all of the numbers and emails available online and from emails I have received from her. not sure what is going on here but no one will return my calls. I am moving forward with the necessary steps to report fraud. I just did not want anyone else to get scammed!!

Great place if you want to spend the night. I know the owners personally, and I visit frequently. There is a lake lodge that is around 300/ night and some cabins that im not sure of the price. The lodge has lots of room and is comfortably furnished, as are the cabins. Only complaint would be the look of the bathrooms ud83dude06

The cabins need major repairs. We rented the lakehouse, lodge, RV site and one side of a duplex for a family reunion. One comforter on one of the beds in the lodge had feces on it, the other one had blood all over it. The oven have a pot of old cooking oil in it. The washer leaked when in use.The RV electrical was a mess, my husband had to help get the power connected, no water or sewer hookup. We reserved and paid for the two bedroom duplex cabin, when we arrived we were told they had their family staying in it, our family members had to move to another property of the owner down the road. It was a one bedroom, the door did not seal correctly, you could see daylight between the door and frame. They had to leave the cabin unlocked because they were not given a key to the door. They had to listen to the sewer alarm when they were at the cabin. Their website states heated swimming pool, it was actually a mid sized aboveground pool with no water in it and needed to be taken down and discarded. We reserved their pontoon boat for 2 days, when we arrived we were told their insurance would not allow the boat on the water due to the weather, on Friday there were a couple hit or miss showers from a tropical depression. Saturday the weather was perfect. The only pontoon boat we saw was in disrepair! Your dogs must be on a leash, but their two dogs run loose all the time. The lake house bathroom off the living room needs major repairs, the subfloor is giving way under your feet, two of the electrical outlets did not work! The oven was nasty and needed cleaning desperately!!! If you used the washer in this cabin the sewer smell was awful outside the cabin as well as in the washer. One family member became ill do to the stench. I would not recommend staying there until repairs have been made and they learn how to clean after renters leave!

Great place to stay over a weekend, clean interior with lots of beds. Dock and bridge to fish/jump off and quite spot

Couldn't ask for nicer people to rent from , cabin was very comfortable and spacious. All we brought was our food because cabin had everything else to cook and serve meals. Beautiful scenery with lake out the back door. And all the fishing you can handle, will back soon for relaxation and great company. Thanks for a great stay April & Mike
