Beware and be bold to ask for fairness when dealing with Seng Jewelers. After reading reviews more current than my story, I feel compelled to share my experience with Seng Jewelers.nnAbout 40 years ago, my then husband and I bought wedding rings from Seng. The groom’s ring was ordered in plenty of time for the wedding, but I kept getting put off for its pickup until 2 days before our big day. When I went in (alone) to get the ring on my lunch hour, I found that Seng had made the groom’s ring different from what had been chosen by the groom, which was what I ordered. Instead of solidly-filled brushed white gold with a yellow gold rim having a center diamond, they had made a hollow ring that looked ok but was of substantially lower cost, quality, and value than what had been ordered (with prepayment). Just two days before the wedding, Lee Davis said there wasn’t enough time to correct the “mistake” and get the ring back for the ceremony. He did not offer to provide us with a different groom’s ring for our ceremony so Seng could correct their “mistake,” nor did he offer to refund a portion of the money I had paid in advance for the ring. Of course, the hollow ring began to lose its shape and started looking junky in less than a year.nnSimply put, I got “scr3wed” by Seng Jewelers. They took advantage of a young, demure, and naive blushing bride. My experience with Seng Jewelers was, and remains, unforgettable. Live and learn. Have things changed since then? Beware and be bold.
