Site code : 450 Vicksburg MississippinConsidering the way things are with the Covid -19 pandemic I was expecting a very long wait! I've been there before and knew their waiting area is small and would probably only hold 4 to 5 people at 6 feet apart even with masks on. Surprisingly the wait was adequate and the customer service I received from cashier 605499 was excellent! Very pleased!
The assistants here at this DMV location are very kind and made the process of testing for a learners permit fun for my son. The lady who processed the forms was wonderful and so was the lady at check in. We had made an appointment online and the whole process was easier than it had been with my older son who had to use a different location. This location in Vicksburg was clean and sanitized and precautions were in place due to the Covid-19 pandemic. There was not a crowd and the atmosphere was relaxed for testing.
I was so impressed with the DMV today (10-21-2020)! Everyone was very friendly and super helpful. The appointment time option is brilliant and very efficient! Thank you DMV in Vicksburg for a wonderful experience! It took less than 10 minutes from start to finish!
I brought my son to get his license and we spent less than 30 minutes here. Employees were very friendly. This will be my go-to spot even though we live in Hinds county.
I went in knowing I could be there for a while. However I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't have to wait for a long time. The staff members were extremely courteous and professional and I'm very appreciative that they are there day in and day out for the general public. My experience here is very positive. If you are planning to visit here, just know before you go that you may have to wait a while and that the staff here don't know from day to day how many people will come through here. However, you may be very surprised at how efficiently things move here. Just make sure to get your number when you first arrive. They will call your number as they are able.
