The family Dollar store in this plaza is one of the largest I've ever seenand the people inside that work there or the most pleasant people I've ever come across in these storesnDollar general in breaux bridge all three of them I would not go there I would drive past them to go to the family Dollar in this plaza and I'm live 5 miles past breaux bridge in the opposite direction of family .

Many businesses are closing and the mall is crumbling. With the absence of businesses and jobs Lafayette is one if the most miserable places to live. The sad part is the city is not doing anything about the deterioration of the North side. Poor economy coupled with the good ole boys mentality that the North side of the city is not important is by far one of the most crippling problems this city has been subjected to for sometime. The city should beautify the North side and grant tax free incentives for companies to make the North side of Lafayette there home. The North side can ill afford more business closures.
