Would give no star if I could. The judges are extremely rude and the clerks act like they hate their job and would rather not talk to the people who pay their salaries at all. What a bunch of scum we have running Jefferson county courts.
It is a true pleasure appearing before the Jefferson Family Court. The Judges and staff are always so friendly and helpful.
My sons been kept from me for almost a year because the judge simply believed the mother over the father. Without actual cause putting through a DVO because I didn't have a lawyer to keep them from abusing their power and illegally putting me through this. There's a severe lack of common sense and ability to view situations from a bigger perspective with patience. My son and I are victims of severe emotional abuse from his mother and the Louisville Kentucky family court system.
The clerk's in Jefferson Family Court are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I'm an attorney and frequently have questions or need help looking at the court file for a case. These folks do a great job and should be commended!
I get there on time for court at 9 am and never get out until almost 3 or 4 they need to do something about the waiting time!!!
