Iberia Parish Library (Main Library)

Very sanitary, silent as a library should be and computer accessible!

This is the first time I've been to this library and have not been satisfied with the service. Granted, I don't require much assistance or interaction when I do visit (perhaps that's why), but today I went in and out of 5 people working the front area, 1 was in the little office, 2 were chatting amongst themselves, 2 at the immediate front desk, one of which was on the phone, the other had books in front of her doing work with them. NO ONE GREETED ME or offered assistance as I stood there waiting.... and waiting... until finally the one on the phone got off of her call then the other, again who was directly in front of me, decided to acknowledge me. The two holding conversation DID NOT BUDGE NOR DID THEY OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE.

Was a pleasant experience. Ladies there were excellent.

Very nice library and the staff is extremely polite and knowledgeable!!

This is a decent library. Free internet & a place to lounge if you don't have anything to do. Must have a library card to access the computers. Recommend.
