This place has been in businesses almost my entire life, & it's kept to it's values this whole time: good service selling & buying used comics, music, & movies to discerning Louisville nerds (& I use that term in a loving & self-identfying way).nnI sold some movies & music to them & they offered me a very fair price and treated me with respect & appreciation.nnI love The Great Escape - help keeping Louisville weird.

Always had a great experience here! My husband and son love it for the comics and figures. My daughter loves it for the records and I bought a Mockingjay pin. Nice staff!!

Always a great place to spend time. Whether you're looking for vinyl records, CDs, DVDs, comic books, or nostalgic toys, The Great Escape is the location to get your one stop shopping. Great for Christmas or Halloween, and they very often have huge savings during their sidewalk salesnCheck them out!

Great place to find old vinyl records. I have found some good titles from the '80s. Prices are very reasonable too.
