I have severe postpartum depression and was on Buspar but it didn't work and ended up making things worse. I am no longer breastfeeding so I asked if I could be put back on my pre-pregnancy medication which was Prozac because that seemed to do the job. I called them yesterday to do all this and the nurse tells me she will call in the script yesterday when I called. I thought I had it all handled, but when my husband goes to the pharmacy to pick up my script the nurse supposedly called in, they said they didn't get anything from the office. So I called the next day (today) around 12 to find out what happened. The representative tells me the nurse will call me back so I wait until I guess after she was done with clinic for her to call me back and she tells me she can't call it in until 2 days from now since tomorrow is Thanksgiving and they're closed. That's fine and dandy but this was supposed to be something that was called in YESTERDAY!!! You would think that dealing with mental illness, they would have hustled a bit better instead of doing it when it's convenient for them! Meanwhile, I will try to stay alive until then... but rest assured I am looking for another doctor who runs their office just a bit better. This is shocking to me.
