I don't usually leave bad reviews but this dentist made me extremely uncomfortable. First I was scolded for not being able to open my mouth wide enough for all the extensive xrays she required (I have TMJD). Then I was told not to go on the internet for dental information (she just threw that bit in, it wasn't a response to anything I had to say). Other than that the visit was fine. The office staff were very nice. The hygienist was thorough. The next time I came back I was told I had to leave because I brought my newborn in a carseat carrier to the visit. Apparently children aren't allowed and that was my mistake. 2nd visit was ok, but she mentioned the stains on my back teeth (I've had them for over 20 years, no issues) and that she would just fill them as they became soft. Red flag. Guess what. Next visit she announced there was a spot she had been watching (without informing me) and spoiler alert, it had become soft. Time to drill and fill. I made an appointment with my dentist back home. Said it was fine, not soft at all. 2nd dentist in Prairieville I've had issue with (other place was Ellis), so I've just resigned myself to making the 2 hour drive to my hometown every 6 months. I think the dentists here are just money hungry. Caveat emptor.nnI shouldn't have gone back after I got a bad vibe on the first visit, but this dentist is close to my house and takes my insurance. I really wanted to make it work.
