Oh my goodness!nWe had a choice from our tour guide (Tours by Isabella) and I wanted the burger, but assumed it would be a cheap burger and be disappointed.nThen I saw it being served. I wanted to change my order. It looked devine!nHowever, my plate I went with did not disappoint. So yummy! And my bread pudding...just scrumptious!
We ate here during a plantation tour. The burger and Po Boy were very good. Cheesecake for desert was excellent.
Enjoyed the Homas house and garden. A beautiful part of history. Also enjoyed the lunch at Latil's landing restaurant. A nice get away for a day trip.
A feast for all of your senses! This is a beautiful place to visit and experience the history of the Old South. The current owner has added to the experience with superb accommodations and three award winning restaurants. The grounds and gardens are immaculately maintained. The gift shop is filled with many unique treasures at affordable prices. If you are visiting New Orleans, you owe it to yourself to visit!!
Latil's Landing at Houmas House Plantation is one of the best high-end restaurants in the combined Baton Rouge - New Orleans area. You won't find a better venue to dine. This place is historic and romantic. The dining rooms are small and quaint. The food is on par with all the James Beard/Michelin Star award-winning restaurants you've ever been to. Do yourself a favor and reserve a table at this beautiful restaurant! I promise you'll be back for more!
