Always a pleasures! Dr.nMarseilles is wonderful! Always on point and affordable! So cute tooud83dudc9cud83dudc36let me clarify the mobile vet has no affiliations with the shelter. His schedule is what brings him to the shelter. However, since the passing of the great Captain Herb from WSB which donated quite a bit of money to upgrade from the other old one which was deplorable.
First time there and very impressed with the people and facilities where the animals are kept. Met a sweet baby named Otis ud83dudc95 at first sight. Put my name on the list and I hope I am chosen.
Love that you have to schedule an appointment, and the staff is very caring and following the COVID protocols while taking care of the animals in their care!
Google says they close at 6 but we called and they close at 5. And they said since we are in a different county they can’t take the dog anyway. Their advice was to release the dog and call our county pound and hope they can pick the dog up. Our county pound is closed too.. not very good advice in my opinion. No help
Animal Control- Highly inefficient and negligent. I have made several calls on multiple occasions and I am yet to be assisted. Once again, I am referring to animal control and dispatch services. Do they even exist? We have so many stray and lost dogs in Douglas County, it would be great if animal control actively did their job and aided these poor creatures. However, in regards to the humane society... they are incredible and I am proud of the wonderful/ impactful work they do in our community!
