It is astonishing how different offices of the same company can be! I had a great first visit at the N.Decatur office today. I felt very safe and comfortable. Everything went smoothly and every employee I interacted with was kind and patient. I was treated by Amanda Sanders, PA-C, and she is awesome. I felt that she spent a good amount of time with me and addressed all of my questions. I am happy to have found my new dermatologist! I highly recommend this office! And they paid for parking, which was really nice. (Do not go to the Clairmont Rd. office though, under any circumstances, if you care about yourself)

I’m a new patient and need to complete the new patient forms. I would like to do this online. The link provided to me over the phone only leads to arranging a telemedicine appointment with a doc. I don’t need that. No where did I see the forms to complete and send electronically. Thus, I’ll be old school, print them out, and fill them in by hand and bring them to the office.

I first had to schedule my visit via the telehealth option. Based on my issue, Dr. Sanders kept saying I needed to get laser treatment like 5 times, including when I went in person. There was no actual assessment of what my skin issue was, and for the second appointment she just got to guessing medications. I went to another dermatologist that knew Black skin well and I told her what I was using and she was like no, that compound doesn't work best with what Dr. Sanders prescribed. Dr. Sanders even just looked at a couple of scars and flat out just said they won't go anywhere. Well, I am at a new dermatologist to receive treatment, and they're going somewhere. It's just lazy diagnosis and I won't be back. Her staff was friendly and getting an appointment wasn't an issue for me. I just know when it came to treating my issues, it was a waste of money. Folks act like money grows on trees so I just left all of those prescriptions at the pharmacy until I got a second opinion. She didn't even care what potential costs could be, didn't say call her back for an alternative, etc. So I'm good. It's not for me.

I’ve been a patient for many years. Dr. Hanson us a very knowledgeable and caring person, highly recommend her. The staff is another story. On at least 3 occasions I have left messages for billing dept. but never get a call back. Last week I saw Dr. Hanson and was told a prescription would be called in to my pharmacy, never happened. I spoke with staff on Thurs afternoon and twice on Friday, finally learned on Friday afternoon that Dr,. Hanson was out of the office and I’d have to wait until Monday to request that prescription be sent. Not acceptable.

I have been going to the Decatur location for a couple of years now. I have been very happy with the PA or the Doctors . They are very friendly and I am in and out of the office with in 20/30 minutes.
