I want to commend the postal workers at W. MOUNTAIN AVE POST OFFICE!!! Thank you all for the wonderful hard work you guys put in during the holidays and the Long Hours Of patience and time.nLast night (Saturday) December 26, my husband and I just happened to notice standing and diligently working was our mail carrier, she was in the Dark with four loads of mail, I told my husband to just stand to the side with his flashlight and just watch out for her, no one was outside it was cold and had been raining a bit, there’s woods near those mailboxes and it’s scary dark, she got all the mail in the boxes, she was very focused and relieved that we were there to stand watch making sure she was Safe. She thanked us and she left. We hated to see her out there in the dark alone. The job itself is stressful enough. And though she may be use to it, we didn’t think it safe for her to be out there at night alone in the dark, trying to work and watch over her shoulder for any type of strange activity. We want everyone to just be safe, watch out for your neighbors and service workers. Because we all need one another. 22 people waiting in line and only 2 out of 4 windows occupied. Makes me wonder why our postal rates keep going up. They can't handle what they have now. I'm missing work!! Ps, no parking available either. Lot full.

Today is the day i literally cannot stand this post office. Every-time i come here i have a issue with the lady with the grey hair. Either she acts like she doesn’t hear you when u ask for tape or a pen or Always has something rude or smart to say. She So concerned about the mask that is already on people faces then trying to get the long line down. second issue is the fact the mail man is not delivering mail to my mailbox for months and i have to drive here to retrieve it and deal with this lady and her bs. the guy at the front is very nice as well as the girl that works at the end getting mail and packages for you. The lines are always long. Once they get the line under control and the lady and her attitude it would be a nicer post office!!!

It's been verified that the mailman for Ferndale street in stone mountain is stealing mail. It's been verified through the actual post office. This man is awful, I have him on camera on three different days almost running over my son and myself when we are standing at the end of the driveway trying to get his attention.nHe has refused to deliver mail or packages to my mailbox for over a month, yet the post office does not have any of it. BC IT'S ALL BEEN STOLEN BY THE DELIVERY MAN. VERIFIED.
