I will never return to see the door lady, who does the temperature check, nor recommend anyone for her service, at this location.

This is from Bill Schmidt 9/15/20 2:16 pm. The Centralized Scheduling Dept. of Emory is a nightmare. They are clueless. I asked for an appointment with a their best knee Dr. They set up a Tele appointment with Dr. Daly who was great, except he is an upper extremity doctor !! I just got the bill for the wrong Dr. It took 4 calls to get another appointment with an actual knee doctor. Scheduling department said they would call me back in 24 hours each time. They never called back. 3 weeks later, I finally got the appointment. The knee specialist, Dr. Bowers wrote a prescription for an EMG (nerve test) and the office manager indicated to call Emory Scheduling for the appointment. Once a again, the scheduling department indicated that the office manager should set the appointment!! I asked to speak to a supervisor, was on hold for ten minutes and then was disconnected. The Drs. are great but the central scheduling is horrible. Go elsewhere

I used to work at Emory University Orthopedic & Spine Hospital located at Monterial Road. I worked there for more than 5 years. I quit the job because I see so much discrimination against Nurse with foreign background. I initially thought situation will improve but its getting worst. Nurse tech often ignore request for help or doesn't collaborate well with immigrant nurse or new nurse staff. I have often seen them spending time on cell phone watching stuff but they just pretend to be busy when asked for help. senior management ignore when informed whats going on . There is discrimination in job scheduling . I have seen many times that some nurses only looking after 2 patients while other are force to see 5 patients or more in the bedside care and its all depend on senior management whom they favor. if you are insider you are good and if you are outsider good luck if you are thinking bout working there.

I am a 55 year old Male who just underwent an 11 hour major back surgery performed by Dr Ananthakrishnan and her team. Every step of the way, was planned and executed perfectly. Her and her team are compassionate to your needs and they listen to you. DR. A is honest and and will not steer you wrong just for the sake of gaining a payday.nnI have had many orthopedic surgeries during my lifetime and wish that Dr. A had performed them all. Prior to this operation I did extensive research into choosing a surgeon that I felt would give me the best chance at attaining a full and successful recovery. Up to this point and so far nothing has indicated otherwise. Inbelieve that I made the best possible choice in chooding Dr. Ananthakrishnan.nnOverall and taking in account initial reception, pre op, anesthesia, various support doctors and nurses, rooms, food and physical therapy to occupational therapy, I would give them a rating of 5 out of 5.

My husband had a hip replacement there and you would never know he had a problem at all!
